Warranty

6-month warranty shoes

Some shoes come with a 6-month outsole warranty. After purchase from Forever Tennis, each individual company has its own warranty program. Follow up with the manufacturer for replacement shoes.

  • What’s covered: varies by manufacturer, typically outsole wear-through under normal play within the covered period.
  • What’s not covered: obvious abuse, daily-walking wear, or use on non-court surfaces.
  • How to claim: contact the manufacturer for credit or replacement.
  • Keep your receipt: stop in for a fitting and we’ll log your purchase so we can help you find it later.
Fitting

Why a real fitting matters

Court shoes need to fit differently than running shoes, tighter midfoot, secure heel, and enough toe room for the constant stopping and starting. Online sizing is a guess. Our staff will measure your foot, ask how you play, and put two or three pairs in front of you to compare.

Select models carry a manufacturer 6-month sole-wear warranty, and we stock what holds up at our local clubs.

Walk it & lunge it

Try shoes on, walk the carpet, and do a few quick lateral movements. We’ll watch and tell you if the heel is slipping or the midfoot is loose.

Width matters

If your previous court shoes felt narrow, you might need a wide. We carry true-wide and true-narrow models and can show you the difference side-by-side.

Bring your socks

Bring the socks you actually play in. Cushion thickness changes fit, this is the kind of detail a real fitting catches.

FAQ

Court shoe questions

Can I wear running shoes for tennis or pickleball?

You can, but you shouldn’t. Running shoes are built for forward motion only and have minimal lateral support. They roll ankles on lateral cuts and chew through outsoles in weeks. A real court shoe is the single biggest injury-prevention upgrade you can make.

Do you carry wide-width court shoes?

Yes. Several models we carry come in true-wide widths, ask the staff and we’ll show you which brands run wider. Width matters more than length for court shoes.

Are tennis shoes the same as pickleball shoes?

For most players, yes, a quality tennis shoe is exactly the right thing for pickleball. Pickleball-branded shoes are usually re-tooled tennis shoes. The key feature is lateral stability and a court-rated outsole.

Can I use a hard-court shoe on padel turf?

You can, but a herringbone-outsole clay/padel shoe will give you better grip and slide. Ask us for our padel-friendly recommendations.

What if my shoes wear out before six months?

Some shoes come with a 6-month outsole warranty through the manufacturer. If yours qualifies, contact the manufacturer for a credit or replacement, each brand runs its own warranty program. Keep your receipt, and we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.
