The deepest pickleball paddle selection in Frontenac, Selkirk, Joola, Paddletek, Onix, Wilson, Head, and Babolat. Find the right weight, shape, and core with help from staff who actually play, then demo before you buy.
We hand-pick our wall from the brands and shapes that actually move, from elongated power paddles to widebody control frames, and stock multiple weights of each so you can dial in exactly what you need.
Three decisions: shape, weight, and core. Standard shapes are forgiving and easy to maneuver at the kitchen line; elongated shapes give you reach and put-away power on the baseline. Lighter paddles (7.6–7.9 oz) are quicker for hand battles; heavier paddles (8.0–8.4 oz) generate more pop on drives. A polypropylene honeycomb core is the standard, thicker cores (16mm) are softer and more controlled, thinner cores (13–14mm) are punchier.
Don’t guess. Borrow two or three paddles in different shapes from our demo program, play a few games, and let your hands tell you what they like.

Walk in and ask. Our staff will spend 10 minutes asking how you play, what sports you’ve come from, and your budget, then put two or three paddles in your hand. Most beginners do best with a midweight (7.8–8.0 oz) standard-shape paddle and a thicker core for control.
All three are top-tier brands, the differences come down to feel and the specific lineup. Selkirk leads in soft-touch control paddles like the Power Air series; Joola made big waves with the Perseus and Hyperion lines for power; Paddletek’s Bantam and Tempest series are known for control and durability. Best to demo and decide.
