Cold-weather paddle players in St. Louis, this is your shop. Forever Tennis carries Xenon platform tennis paddles, court-specific balls, and warrantied paddle shoes, the only full platform tennis department in the metro area.
Xenon makes the platform tennis paddles serious players ask for, carbon fiber faces, foam cores, balanced weight, and the textured grit that defines platform tennis. We stock Xenon’s current lineup and can special-order specific models if you don’t see what you want on the wall.
Platform paddles are sized by weight and balance. Heavier head-light paddles favor control and net play; even-balanced paddles give a versatile mix; head-heavy paddles add power off the screen. Our staff can put two or three paddles in your hand and help you narrow it down based on whether you play deuce or ad, defensive or aggressive.
Players who don’t love their first paddle should bring it back, we’ll help you trade up to the right shape and weight.
Platform tennis uses dedicated court balls, harder, lower-bounce, and built to play in cold weather. We stock fresh tubes year-round so your home league or warm-up bag is always ready.

Platform tennis is a winter sport, we keep balls and gear fully stocked through the season.
Platform courts are unforgiving on shoes, the heated deck and constant lateral movement chew up soles fast. We carry shoes built for paddle, all backed by a 6-month warranty against premature sole wear. If they wear through early, bring them back.
Platform tennis is all sideline-to-sideline. Our paddle shoes have the firm midsole and outsole grip you need.
Sole wear out before six months? Bring them back, we’ll work with you on a replacement.
We do real fitting. Bring your paddle socks, walk the carpet, jump, lunge, decide.
Several country clubs and racquet clubs in the St. Louis area host platform tennis programs and courts. Stop in and ask, our staff plays the game and knows the local scene.
No. Platform tennis uses solid (no-string) paddles with a textured face built to handle wire-screen play. Tennis rackets won’t survive contact with the screens.
Platform tennis is the original cold-weather paddle sport, played on a smaller heated court with wire screens that keep the ball in play. The paddles are textured but smaller than padel and the game is faster than pickleball. Different paddle for each.
Platform paddles are solid, no strings. We can regrip and refresh the textured grit on most paddles, however. Bring it in.
